CHA Learning's Health Information Associate (HIA) Program is the only program that focuses on the essential skills required for clerical roles in acute care. Recently accredited by the Canadian College of Health Information Management (CCHIM), this program will help organizations raise the bar on the knowledge and skills of clerks across the health system. Graduates are eligible to write the National Certification Examination (NCE) to become Health Information Certified Associates (HICA). This flexible, online, learner-centered program can be completed in as few as 6 months or as long as 2 years.
