As AI and other emerging technologies are playing an increasingly important role in the health care system, it is imperative that CHIMA, on behalf of the health information profession, provides a framework and recommendations related to the ethical and responsible use of these technologies and prepare for their successful implementation. CHIMA's board has approved the creation of an advisory group with this mandate top of mind.
If you are interested, you are invited to put your name forward with a brief paragraph outlining why you are interested in participating and the perspective and skillset you can bring to be a positive contributor to the advisory group. You are welcome to reach out for a copy of the terms of reference for more information.
